Truly one of the most iconic national parks in the world is Northern California’s Yosemite National Park. I am beyond grateful to have spent the last few days of 2018 surrounded by the spectacular beauty and changing colors of its winter landscape so famously marked by the massive granite rock formations I have always dreamt to meet – El Capitan, Half Dome, Cathedral Rock and Three Brothers, among others. To be honest, after all the big breaks, confusing challenges, risky changes and deep introspective periods of the passing year it felt fitting to end 2018 BIG by going to a place that represents epic powers of endurance and possibility, to be reminded especially in these days of US government shut-down the unforgettable words of John Muir who said – “When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.” The new post-Yosemite me is awestruck and inspired, wishing everyone to have an enlightening 2019! May this new year be happy, healthy and full of grace.
